OUR HISTORY

"Aralia Arabians and our Straight Egyptian stallion, BKA Rashiiq (Ruminaja Ali x AK Radia) are enjoying our new home in the scenic hills of northern California," say owners Pat and Harley DeLano. Aralia Arabians is the result of Pat DeLano's life-long dream of owning and breeding the highest quality Egyptian and Egyptian related Arabians possible. The goal has been accomplished with only 5 mares, picked not only for their pedigrees, but for their type, size, attitude and athletic abilities.
Always drawn to the Ruminaja Ali bred horses, Pat set out to find a stallion with the Ali breeding to use as her breeding foundation. BKA Rashiiq, the 16 hand son of Ruminaja Ali was it!

OUR FUTURE

    BKA Rashiiq is now a full-time breeding stallion, having proven himself as a halter and performance winner. Those involved in the Aralia program know Rashiiq is a very athletic stallion. His free-moving shoulder, high arching neck, long legs, and powerful hindquarters all come together very elegantly. His pretty face and strong body are only one element of his appeal. His natural ability to perform under saddle is what sets him apart.
   The goal at Aralia is to produce not only beautiful horses, but ones that have the conformation and athletic abilities to go from the halter arena right into the performance arena. They are accomplishing this goal through the offpsring of BKA Rashiiq.   At the Egyptian Event in 2000, Rashiiq was named champion in show hack and reserve champion in country English pleasure -- at the age of 14.
    Aralia's junior stallion, Shikuulaata AA, is out of the Simeon Shai daughter VP Shai Sensation and sired by the Minstril son T.C. Moniets Legacy. Shikuulaata AA has excelled in both halter and performance, earning a top five ribbon at both Region III and Scottsdale in halter plus numerous wins in western pleasure.
